AURER — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the AURER mobile application (“the App”), operated by Yu Cheuk Hei, an individual developer based in Hong Kong (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

AURER provides facial analysis reports, feature breakdowns, styling guidance, and a phased self-improvement roadmap based on photos you provide. The App’s outputs are for informational and entertainment purposes only and do not constitute medical, dermatological, psychological, or professional advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the App. By using AURER you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Subscriptions and payments (Aurer+)

• AURER offers paid subscriptions and one-time purchases (“Aurer+”).
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
• Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may change with notice.
• Except where required by law, purchases are non-refundable. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload photos of people without their consent.
• Use the App for unlawful, harassing, or harmful purposes.
• Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the App or its content.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of photos you provide. You grant us a limited license to process those photos solely to deliver the App’s features to you.

7. Intellectual property

The App, its design, text, and analysis outputs are owned by Yu Cheuk Hei and protected by applicable law. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that analysis results are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Results are subjective and should not be relied upon as professional advice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yu Cheuk Hei shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
